2ONE Labs Pays $1 Million Bond in Trademark Dispute with Imperial’s ZONE Brand

U.S. nicotine pack brand 2ONE Labs and its distributor. Performance Plus Marketing paid a $1 million bond to secure a preliminary injunction in a trademark dispute with Imperial Tobacco’s ZONE brand. This prohibits the shipment of ZONE nicotine packs to U.S. trading partners.

Bond Payment Secures Preliminary Injunction

According to Ein Presswire on January 2. 2ONE Labs and its distributor, Performance Plus Marketing, paid a $1 million bond to the court. The bond is intended to secure a preliminary injunction for 2ONE Labs in its trademark dispute with Imperial Tobacco’s ZONE brand.

Company Statement Emphasizes Intellectual Property Protection

Vincent Schuman, the CEO of 2ONE Labs, stated:

  • “This deposit reflects our commitment to protecting 2ONE’s intellectual property and ensuring the free expansion of the 2ONE brand in the market. Unhindered by anyone who infringes the trademark rights.”

He added that the guarantee was made according to the court’s instructions and represents a key step in protecting the company’s brand, noting that such requirements are common in trademark cases. The $1 million amount is far lower than the $50 million initially proposed by Imperial.
