According to this data, the taste of fruit is more popular than cigarettes or menthol. There are currently more than 7,000 different vape flavors on the UK market, including Lost Mary’s much-loved flavor of Pineapple Ice 2024, which accounts for 6% of sales. Elf Bar Watermelon (Watermelon) ranked second, with 3.7% of the market and Bar’s Mad Blue came in third with 3.1% of the market.

According to the survey. British customers like well-known brands, with Elf Bar and Lost Mary taking 38.7% and 29.5% of the market respectively, followed by Vuse, followed by 13% of the market, in the top three.
Markus Lindblad, Haypp, said,
- “The data shows that customers have a clear preference for some vape brands. In addition, British customers often prefer exotic fruits to cigarettes. Only 2 percent of consumers chose menthol, demonstrating the importance of substituting flavor for many who decide to switch from tobacco to vapes.”
Haypp said smokers often start with tobacco vapes, but over time they start switching to other flavors, especially fruit. This is because consumers who stay away from tobacco also want to stay away from the smell of tobacco. Therefore, in the process of many people deciding to change their taste and continue to move away from tobacco, it is particularly important to adopt a reasonable and balanced taste strategy in vape legislation. Banning the use of vapes to quit smoking has reduced the number of people, and even made some people smoke again.
