According to Hankook on February 19, Korea Tobacco (KT&G) announced on the same day (19) that it officially launched a new cigarette product “Raison Ionia Mystic Purple” in convenience stores nationwide. “Raison” is a representative cigarette brand released by KT&G in 2002.
The tar and nicotine content of the new product is 0.1mg and 0.01mg respectively.
In November 2024, KT&G launched three products, “Raison Ionia Mystic Purple,” “Ocean Blue,” and “Summer Red,” as duty-free exclusive products.
Song Seung-cheol, head of the domestic brand team at KT&G, said, Among the duty-free products, Raison Ionia Mystic Purple has the highest customer satisfaction, so we decided to officially launch the products in convenience stores nationwide. We will continue to launch more products in line with consumer needs and trends to improve brand satisfaction.”
