Increase in the ceiling of fines to $25,000
The CBC recently reported that the revised provisions of the Tobacco and vape Sale and Access Act, which officially took effect on February 1, greatly increased the maximum fine limit for continuous violations of the enterprise, which can impose a fine of up to $25,000.
